Welcome to W Oil Change Coupons. your online resource for saving money on each oil change for your vehicles!

Walmart prides themselves on being the most affordable service center around, hence the slogan:

“Services You Need, Prices You Can Afford”

So, even if you don’t have any oil change coupons, you’re still likely to save money just by taking your car to the Walmart Tire and Lube Service Center.

A few reasons you need Walmart Oil Change Coupons:

Hidden Costs. You might see a big ad in the Sunday paper for $19.95 oil change service, but what you don’t see are all the hidden costs involved. By the time you’re finished there are additional costs for oil disposal fees and other miscellaneous fees. That $19.95 can quickly turn in to $29.95. Walmart oil change coupons can help you reduce that cost.

Never pay full price. This isn’t just limited to oil changes; you should never pay full price for anything. But to stay on the subject,t there are always service specials being advertised each week. Your vehicle might not be due for an oil change, but that’s no reason not to save coupons. Make sure you are looking around for the best service for your money. You can always find Walmat oil change specials right here.

Check your warranty. If you aren’t required by your warranty to take your vehicle to the dealer for oil changes then you can end up saving at least 50% of the cost in most cases! The same service at Walmart will likely cost 2-3 times less than your local dealer.

Why do car dealers charge so much? Because they can.

Most people don’t bother asking why the dealer price is so much more expensive. In all honesty it should be less expensive! The problem is most people see the price as relative to what they paid for their vehicle. After spending $20,000 on the vehicle, spending another $20 on vehicle maintenacne doesn’t seem to bother a lot of people.

But $20 extra dollars on oil changes can add up. Don’t be like those people that don’t care. Take advantage of this website and find out ways to cut your costs.

Where to find Walmart oil change coupons?

    • Newspaper (especially Sunday paper)
    • Ask them to match other oil change specials (such as Jiffy Lube, Midas, etc.)
    • Check Walmarts official site; they have a coupons section, though a lot of the time it is just for the motor oil and not for the oil change itself. This can still save you money!

Note: Walmart oil change coupons aren’t always available, but that doesn’t mean you can’t save money on a Walmart oil change. Be creative.

What if you forget your Walmart oil change coupon?

If you forget your Walmart coupon on the way to Walmart it’s no big deal. Just ask the mechanics at the Tire & Lube Express Center. One of the single best ways of obtaining coupons is by simply asking. In fact, it’s recommended to ask about specials or promotions every time you visit Walmart. You’ll be shocked just how much you can save.

Other ways to save money on your oil change at Walmart

Try to schedule routine maintenance such as oil changes for multiple vehicles. Often times a family may have 2-5 cars that need maintenance on a regular schedule. Check with Walmart before you schedule the appointment and find out if you can get a discount if you bring in multiple vehicles at once.

Are you a Do-It-Yourselfer? If so, look into grabbing an oil change kit from Walmart. There are always coupons available for the actual motor oil your car uses and Walmart always matches prices. So if you find a coupon to Auto Zone for some valvoline motor oil, just bring that with you to Walmart and they’ll likely honor it.

In addition to Walmart oil change coupons there are usually other oil change specials or tire and lube service specials available. These services are very popular because of the great price and product discounts. Also, Walmart has literally thousands of stores across each state, most of which have their own Tire and Lube Center, making it unbelievably easy to get your oil changed at a good price.

When you bring your vehicle to Walmart Tire and Lube Center make sure you don’t forget your walmart oil change coupons! While Walmart is already the cheapest service in town, a Walmart oil change coupon can save you even more money. You can find most Walmart oil change coupons just by picking up the newspaper, especially a Sunday paper. Or, to let you in on another little secret, just ask when you arrive if they are running any special promotions; they almost always are.

If it’s been 3,000 to 5,000 miles since your last oil change and you don’t want to spend a lot of money, consider grabbing a Walmart oil change coupon and heading on over to your local Walmart. You won’t be disappointed.

What is typically included in an express service package?

Typically you can’t just get an oil change these days. Most oil changes are wrapped up into service packages and “specials”, which is generally a good thing because they include other engine checks that are necessary. The bad thing is often times many places will try to get you to pay for services that you don’t necessarily need. In order to prevent spending money on things you don’t need we’ve laid out exactly what Walmart includes in their basic service package.

A typical Walmart Express Service Package will include the following:

    • Up to 5 quarts of oil
    • New filter
    • Lube chassis
    • Vacuum interior, wash windshield
    • Check tire pressure
    • Check and fill transmission fluid, washer fluid, power steering fluid, differential fluid
    • Check battery performance, wiper blades, head lights, and tail lights

As you can see there isn’t much fluff here. These are the services you want and need to get checked out each time you get an oil change, so you might as well take advantage of any specials related to these services.

How much does a Walmart oil change cost?

Walmart oil changes, as included in an express service package will usually cost between $19.99 and $34.99 depending on the season, any current promotions, and whether or not you have your Walmart Oil Change Coupons.

You’ve probably noticed that oil changes have gone up fairly significantly in price over the past decade. Growing up you may have been used to paying $9.99 for an oil change that not only included all the services mentioned above but many more. Unfortunately the price of oil has sky rocketed and tends to fluctuate from one season to the next.

It might not be a bad idea to learn to change your oil yourself and utilize Walmart motor oil coupons to purchase your motor oil ahead of time when you can save money. Just some food for thought.

Extreme couponing is the new rave. You may have even heard of a term called “Power Couponing” or “Power Couponer”. It’s the truth that in this tough economy, every little penny counts and you should take advantage of all specials, even if they’re only a few dollars, such as Walmart oil change coupons .

There’s not a single item you should be paying for full price, especially not at Walmart. And one of the easiest ways to save is simply by printing the coupon out and bringing it to the store. In many cases they will even accept competitor coupons.

For example, if you are unable to find a Walmart oil change coupon, it is likely that you could find Valvoline Motor Oil coupons and use those at the Walmart Tire and Lube Center. But don’t just limit your search to oil change coupons. There are hundreds of items that you could be saving money on each time you have to bring your car in for maintenance. I’m sure you’ve been told multiple times that you need to replace your windshield wipers for $50! That’s the prime example, wait until you find a coupon for wiper blades and bring it to Walmart the next time you are getting your oil change.

    Walmart Accepts Printable Internet Coupons

Don’t let them tell you otherwise. If you have a valid coupon for a product that Walmart offers make sure they honor it.

However, don’t try to scam Walmart into taking coupons that aren’t real. For one it won’t work, and for two you’ll probably just end up getting that employee into trouble.

You can read up on the Walmart Coupon Policy if you want more information.

Walmart looks for 4 things when accepting printable coupons:

    1. Manufacturer’s Name (i.e. Valvoline Oil)
    2. Scannable Bar Code
    3. Remit Address
    4. Valid Expiration Date

Where to Get Printable Walmart Coupons?

The best place to find printable Walmart coupons is online. However, if you’re unlucky finding any online you can also check their main page and search for coupons.

To make it easier I’ve added the link here .

In addition to finding Walmart coupons online, you can also find them already printed out for you. That’s right, just check your local newspaper! All you have to do is cut the coupon out and bring it with you.

Other places to check for printable coupons

There are multiple all inclusive coupon sites online. Often times they put out a weekly or monthly newsletter that allows you to sign up and receive the most up to date coupons.

Don’t have a way to print out coupons?

No problem! If you have an iPhone or other smart phone (such as Blackberry or Android) there are multiple coupon apps that allow you to scan an object in the store (i.e. motor oil) and it will pull up any coupons available for that item. If you wanted to be prepared before you got to the store many of these apps also allow you to simply type the item into the phone and it will pull up coupons for items in that market.

After you’ve found the coupon you need, just bring your phone to the store and show the sales clerk as you’re checking out. As smart phones become increasingly popular over the next few years it wouldn’t be surprising to see the majority of coupons being offered using this method.

When most people receive the Sunday paper one of the first things they do is set aside the coupons and discounts/sales section. Why? Because everyone wants to get the best deal possible. But how many times have you searched and searched only to never find what you were looking for?

Let’s say you are a do-it-yourself oil change kind of person and you want to save some money on your next purchase of Mobil or Valvoline oil, but you can never seem to find a coupon. Here’s where your brand new iPhone comes into play. The invention of applications, known more commonly as “apps” was absolutely ingenious. The invention of an app that searches for the best deals for all your purchases, well that was just mind blowing.

3 iPhone Apps You Should Be Using

    Better Deal

This $0.99 app allows you to compare up to 4 different items from different stores to determine which is the best deal. Don’t ever pay too much for an air filter, wiper blades, or motor oil again.

(Note: there is another app called ScanBar that will allow you to scan the actual item and then compare prices!)

    Coupon Sherpa

This is the most used coupon iPhone app available. Some others recommend Yowza Mobile Coupons, but you just can’t beat Coupon Sherpa. What exactly does Coupon Sherpa do? Well, next time you’re at Walmart and realize you need an oil change or need other automotive supplies, but don’t have any coupons or any way of saving money all you have to do is break out your iPhone. Coupon Sherpa will let you search by category or store name and will find both in-store and exclusive deals (for all Coupon Sherpa users) that are available. It will even allow you to email these coupons to your friends.

    Walmart App

Last, but certainly not least is the Walmart app. That’s right, even Walmart wants you to save money. Just check out the picture below. The Walmart app allows you to search Walmart by category for the following: coupons, deals, savings. Talk about a quick way to save a few dollars.

How to Use the Coupon Once You Find It

Most of you are still very new to the implementation of all these new “smart phones” like the iPhone or Android and might still use printable oil change coupons. So, many of you might be hesitant to try and use an oil change coupon that is on your iPhone. Don’t be. Most of the time Walmart has prepared their employees with information about all these new devices, so they are ready and expecting people to be showing them all sorts of coupons and specials they find via apps. As a matter of fact, if you are unable to find the coupon you are looking for you could probably just hand your iPhone to an employee and they might just find it for you.

In conclusion, take a few minutes, download a couple apps and save money on your next Walmart oil change.

Even if it’s not time to change your oil, it may be time to change your oil filter, or at the very least check it out. Luckily the Walmart oil filters are pretty good quality (check out the video below).

If nothing more, it can be educational to look under the hood of your car every couple months. You’d be surprised what all you’ll learn.

Your oil filter is designed for 1 purpose, remove contaminants from the following types of oil:

    • engine oil
    • lubricating oil
    • transmission oil
    • hydraulic oil

So, why might you want to check early? To see if its working of course! (more on that below)

How much would an oil filter cost you?

It all depends on the type of oil filter you want. A typical oil filter will probably run you $5-$10, depending on whether or not you have any coupons or if there is a sale. It also depends a little on the brand.

In the event you want a premium oil filter for extended lifetime, they may run you as much as $20.

Are oil filters included in a Walmart Oil Change?

If you pay for the Express Service Package then as far as your oil goes you can expect them to replace up to 5 quarts of oil and replace your old oil filter with a new one. See below on how you can check your oil filter yourself.

It is always a good idea to speak to your oil change mechanic when they are complete to ask them if your oil filter seemed to be working properly. A lot of times they are a good sign of potential problems in the future.

Want to change and recycle your oil filter yourself?

A lot of car owners like to know exactly how their oil is holding up. Most people recommend changing conventional oil every 3,000-5,000 miles (depending on what you’re manufacturer recommends), but a lot of times it is a good idea to actually see for yourself how that oil is performing. One way of doing this is to take a look at your oil filter.

Your oil filter catches the dirt and debris that your oil picks up as it cycles through your engine. Typically you don’t want to see a lot of debris or shavings (from gears grinding against each other at high speeds) in your oil filter. A lot of shavings could mean 1 of 2 things:

    1. Your oil filter is working properly and getting rid of debris so your oil doesn’t take it with it on its next cycle through the engine.
    2. Your oil isn’t doing a good enough job of lubricating internal engine parts and preventing wear and tear at high speeds or hot temperatures.

Either way, if you want to check out your oil filter yourself or even replace it yourself Walmart provides a pretty decent step by step guide of how to do so. You can check it out here .
