Rondriso Farms General Store and Pumpkin Patch
is a traditional family farm, committed to naturally-raised
beef and pesticide-free produce.
Welcome to Rondriso Farms! We’re Ron and Pam Tamis and we own and operate our farm, general store, and pumpkin patch along with our three boys and our dog, Cooper. We are proud to run a small-scale farm. We believe that growing a wide range of crops allows us to maintain the integrity of our land and the food we grow. Our farm is truly sustainable, and that’s good for our family and yours.
The Tamis family has been farming in Surrey since 1958. We took over operation of the farm in 2002, starting out with 11 cows and 1000 bales of hay. Over the years, we’ve added a pumpkin patch, sweet corn, potatoes, squash, and a variety of other vegetables. In 2008, Ron quit his job at a large-scale farm and we’ve been working our land full-time ever since.
Farming is a family affair. All of us help out on the farm, including the boys. The best part about having a small-scale sustainable farm is that we can make a living for our family and do it together.
We’ve come a long way since 2002. We sell our produce at our General Store and at local Farmers Markets and we run our Localicious Produce Box program throughout the summer, fall, and winter. We raise chickens and Simmental cattle. And every October, our Pumpkin Patch is open to the community.
We’d love you to come for a visit and experience family farming at its best!
